It all began with a bakery. In Warth am Arlberg. That’s where our grandfather, Vinzenz Walch, used to bake. Up early. Kneading dough. Shaping rolls. Delivering them. That’s how it was. Today, we are a gourmet hotel through and through. A family business now in its third generation. We’ve all stuck together. And we still do today.
We are Michelle and Simon. Together with the whole family, a brilliant team and a great deal of love for this place. Flour dust? A thing of the past. Indulgence? It’s spread far and wide. Today, for us, it’s all about good food, cosy rooms and the Arlberg right on our doorstep. Some call it a pampering holiday.

Who are Michelle and Simon?
We’re Michelle & Simon. We’re hosts through and through. We’re the ones who keep everything running smoothly. And if something’s missing anywhere, we’re usually not far away.
Is the hotel open all year round?
We’re here for you all year round – with a break during the off-season. Because Warth is both: blanketed in snow and wonderfully green.
Does the hotel have a spa?
Yes. Our Panorama Wellness is waiting for you. With saunas, relaxation rooms and plenty of mountain views. After a day out and about, it’s nice to wind down for a change.
